In this most recent Gartner report, Juniper (Mist) is a Visionary and was placed furthest in completeness of vision relative to other vendors, highlighting the unique value proposition of the solution, which includes an open programmable architecture, patented Virtual BLE that eliminates the need for physical beacons, and extensive integration of third-party components, including new partner solutions that leverage Ultrawideband, and Wi-Fi Radar, for advanced location use cases.

Leveraging WiFi Sensing for Client-less (device-free) Location

WiFi Sensing is an innovative technology that can eliminate the need to deploy tags while bringing visibility into occupancy, motion and traffic flows within enterprise, healthcare, retail and hospitality environments. It is complementary to other location technologies such as BLE or UWB while addressing several use cases that those technologies cannot easily address.
